Dr. Eric Vogelzang
Dr. Eric Vogelzang grew up in Grand Rapids, attended Grand Rapids Christian High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in Education from Calvin College in 2003. He moved to Seattle, Washington in 2004 to teach sixth grade at Bellevue Christian School where he taught for six years. During that time, he gained a love of teaching and helping his students reach their fullest potential. He was active in the CrossFit community at the time, and like most, he injured his back. Receiving Chiropractic care proved so effective and life-changing that he decided to pursue it as a career.
He attended the University of Western States Chiropractic, and after graduating in 2014, he began working as an associate with Bridge Chiropractic in Vancouver, Washington. After six months, he became Clinic Director of the Mill Plain office where he successfully managed and ran a thriving practice. He created detailed care plans for each patient’s individual needs, wants, and goals. Incorporating therapeutic exercise to correct muscle imbalance and postural problems, and effectively correcting subluxation earning Bridge “Chiropractic Office of the Year” for Clark County from 2015-2017.
Educating and helping patients fully understand the mechanics of how Chiropractic works was one of his favorite aspects of working with them; showing each patient that the Power that created the body heals the body; that structural and mechanical imbalance in the spine leads to disease, inflammatory responses, and accelerated spinal degeneration processes.
In his free time, Dr. Eric enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and really anything outdoors. He loves exercising whenever he can, from daily swims to weekend trail runs, or just getting out into nature. His family lives in Grand Rapids and spends time with his parents, brother, sister, nieces, and nephews as often as possible.
Dr. Eric has always loved working in a career that helps people become their best selves, whether as a teacher or as a Chiropractor. He is very excited to be a part of the East Grand Rapids and Grand Rapids communities and to help people ultimately reach their fullest innate potential.
Who We Are
Restored Health Chiropractic Mission & Vision
To provide the best individualized care to every patient, no matter where they are in their health journey.
Why the Unalome?
Traditionally, the unalome symbolizes a person's journey through life or to enlightenment. We wanted to build off of this and use it in our logo to describe a person's journey to health.
When we started the rebranding process, we envisioned an office that offered chiropractic care to individuals in every stage of their health journey. Maybe we are the first taste of alternative healthcare for somebody struggling with a chronic issue who has not been able to get answers using other routes. Or maybe we are the new chiropractic home to somebody who has seen a chiropractor for 20+ years and they are wanting to explore other therapies we offer. We want to care for everybody, no matter where you may be in the sometimes messy and not-so-straightforward journey to better health. We would be honored to serve as a part of your particular health journey.
“Wonderful chiropractor (Eric) and massage therapist (Alicia). They always listen to me. I had had some surgery and had to do modifications with my adjustments and massage, and they were more than willing to do whatever I needed. Excellent chiropractic office!”
